LEICESTER star Erik Riss says they are desperate to earn their second straight home victory when they face King’s Lynn at Beaumont Park on Saturday (7.30).
The Watling JCB Lions got back to winning ways against the Stars last time out and will now look to repeat the trick.
Riss admits they have been left frustrated by their injury misfortune which has stalled their progress in the second half of the season.
But with Josh Grajczonek booked to guest at No.1 for Kim Nilsson, he is confident they can emerge with three more points.
Riss said: “The injuries we’ve had have been frustrating, but it was good to get a win against King’s Lynn last home meeting, and we’ll try to continue that with another win at home this time.
“We still have two riders injured, but we’ve got some good guests in who will hopefully help us win again in front of our home fans.”
There will be a bouncy castle for kids between 5.30 and 7.30 and it is hoped plenty of supporters will turn out in the school holidays to support the Lions.
A raceday update with team news from both clubs will be issued on Saturday morning.
